Boise's own Summerwind Skippers representing Team USA have extended their winning ways to include a World Championship title. The group of Jeanette Hronek, Kelsy Moe, Lee Reisig, Shane Winsor, and Calli Wold competed in the Senior Open Division, the highest level of competition equal to the Olympics of Jump Rope. The group swept the medals earning Gold medals in Double Dutch Overall, Single Rope Overall, and the Overall World Championship. In the Junior Division, two teams earned World medals. Samantha Lange, Chris Miller, Krysia Rousseau, Katrina Sternberg, and Allison Waters won Silver medals for Double Dutch and Overall, while Justin Meier, Samantha Michell, Jessica Outhet, Alysa Schneider, and Erica Smith won the Bronze medal for the Overall. Shane Winsor also won the Bronze Medal in the Overall Individual World Championship. The 5 day tournament brought together an amazing field of athletes from countries such as Australia, Belgium, China, South Korea, Japan, U.K., South Africa, Puerto Rico, Hungary, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Brazil, Canada, Germany, and the United States. The tournament was held in Toronto, Canada.
